Paperback. Condition: New. Print on Demand. This book provides an up-to-date and comprehensive look at the practice of vivisection, or animal experimentation, and the anti-vivisection movement that has sought to curb it since its inception. By providing a historical context of the debate, the author explores the moral and ethical arguments on both sides of the issue, tracing the evolution of society's understanding of animal rights and protection. The book examines the scientific and medical benefits of animal experimentation, balancing these against the well-being of animals, challenging readers to confront their own beliefs about the limits of scientific inquiry. This book offers a unique perspective on a subject that has sparked controversy for centuries, inviting readers to engage with the arguments of both sides and come to their own conclusions about the morality and necessity of vivisection.
