Cuba y Panamá declararon la guerra a Alemania desde los primeros momentos, el 7 de Abril la primera nación, el I.º, la segunda. El Brasil no llegó a la declaración de guerra, pero rompió toda relación diplomática dando los pasaportes al Minis tro Pauli, el II del mismo mes; Bolivia lo hizo el 13; Guatemala el 28. En mayo 18 y 19, respectivamente, Honduras y Nicaragua dejaron de tratar con la nación que no respeta los convenios. Así en junio 9 y 11 Haití y Santo Domingo se hallaron sin relación de ningún genero con ésta. El Perú, el Salvador y el Uruguay en estos dias están poniendo en manos de los ministros alemanes.
