We all know, that wr these few signs may be recorded the language of a thousand tongues for thousand ages: nor would the object be at all faerlttated were the signs hundred, or as many thousands, though the modes of expression are t yond all human computation.
It rs also a fact of notoriety and philosophic interest, that our alphabet signs are now employed no common by the inhabitants of England, Franc Spam, Italy, and many other countrtes.
