Iwill only add that, in regard to the Metz Pontifical, the possession of which I owe to a recent bequest under the willof the late Sir Thomas Brooke, Bart, it would have well deserved more copious illustration. It had, however, been already so completely facsimiled in the volume which its late owner offered to the Roxburghe Club a few years ago, that I felt that little more was required than a reference to that volume and to the admirable, description of the ms. By the Rev. E. S. Dewick which is printed therewith.
