Some articles of a practical business nature, not usually found in school arithmetics, such as Equation of Accounts, p. 188; Partnership Settle m'ents, p. 224; have been introduced. For these we are indebted to Mr. S. G. Beatty, late Principal of Ontario Commercial College. Special care has been 'taken to adapt the work to the wants of i the business leommunity.
