Rubiaceae. Stamens as many as corolla-lobes, mostly four or five. Ovary with two or more cells or placenta. Seeds albuminous. Leaves all simple and entire, with stipules between or within the petioles or bases, or whorled without stipules, the additional leaves probably representing them.
