Excerpt from Catalogue of the Collections of Coins Ancient and Modern of Messrs. R. R. Barker, Newport, R. I., J. L. Heffner, Pottstown, Pa., H. C. Bowman, Cleveland, O., And a Chicago Amateur: To Be Sold at Public Auction Without Reserve by Messrs. Davis and Harvey, Auctioneers, No. 910 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Friday and Saturday, November 28 and 29, 1913
I have endeavored to accurately describe the coins, and it is a great source of comfort to find that my care in this all-important point meets with the approbation of buyers. If the coin is damaged I say so, even though that defect may be very slight and so as to not unduly reduce the value I often expressly state if the injury is slight or serious. The sale is for cash and prompt settlement is requested.
