Once a mode1 has been devised it is possib1e to use the mode1 to simu1ate performance or predict future va1ues of the noise in an optimat way. In use today there are three means of data ana1ysis: (1) Power spectra1 density estimation (2) Fitting of auto-regressive, Integrated, Moving Average (arima) mode1s and (3) the use of the two-samp1e variances Methods (1) and (3) have been recommended [4] as preferred measures of frequency stabi1ity.
