Dedica a stampa dell'autore al grande matematico "M. le Sénateur Comte LAGRANGE" (insignito della Legion d'Onore, eletto al Senato di Francia e nominato conte dell'impero da Napoleone). Cartone coevo (edit.) muto, privo di dorso, piatti e primi due fogli staccati, ma compatto l'interno nella sua cucitura originale, fioriture lievi a varie pp. (ma vistose e con gora solo al front.). Uscì nel 1807. Titolo e 2.a edizione censiti in 8 bibl. it. (ma edito dalla vedova Coricier in sole 4 bibl. it.).

Original Kupferstich, nach einer Zeichnung von Jean-Alphonse Roehn, erschienen in Carle Vernet "Campagnes Francaises", Paris um 1820. Dargestellt wird die Erstürmung der Stadt Regensburg am 23. April 1809 durch die französischen Truppen. Links im Vordergrund der hier erstmals verwundete Napoleon, im Hintergrund die brennende Stadt Regensburg von Norden mit den französischen Truppen. Blatt mit vielen Flecken und Wasserrand (Hauptsächlich außerhalb der Darstellung). Ansonsten in gutem Zustand. 32.5 x 44 cm (12.75 x 17,25 inches).

It consists of a large magnifying lens through which the picture is viewed. Some models have the lens mounted on a stand in front of an angled mirror. This allows someone to sit at a table and to look through the lens at the picture flat on the table. Pictures viewed in this way need to be left-right reversed; this is obvious in the case of writing. A print made for this purpose is called a vue d'optique or perspective view.

Bon Ensemble de deux lettres, très longues et denses, et une pièce autographe signée de Marc-AntoineJullien de Paris. Joli texte composé par Jullien de Paris "Dans trois lieux différents ma présence attendue laisse entre trois objets mon âme suspendue. Ici, d'un saint amour la séduisante voix m'appelle, me réclame et fait valoir ses droits ; Là, c'est de l'intérêt la voix impérieuse qui sollicite en vain mon âme soucieuse [.] Elle à ma préférence". Relation minutieuse des différentes sectionsde la sixième session du Congrès scientifique qui se tint enAuvergne, à Clermont-Ferrand, en septembre 1838. Il évoque de nombreux sujets, comme sa volonté de création d'une section d'économie sociale ou de sciences morales et sociales. Il doit rencontrer le ministre des États-Unis, évoque la veuve Montgolfier, M. de La Doucette, etc. Ami de Robespierre, il fait arrêter Carrier pour ses exactions à Nantes ; à la Restauration, il fonde la Revue encyclopédique qu'il dirige jusqu'en 1830.

JULLIEN, un protetto di Robespierre, fu inviato dal Comitato di Pubblica Sicurezza in missione in diversi porti dell'Atlantico, a partire dal 10 settembre 1793. Fu incaricato di garantire la sorveglianza della situazione militare e della propaganda giacobina e tentò di ottenere un rapporto con l'opinione pubblica, poi con Napoleone in Egitto; propose un piano per unificare gli stati italiani nel luglio 1800 e si indignò per i divieti anti-giacobini dop l'attentato a napoleone dellp stesso anno.
