Three titles bound together in one volume; 5 in. x 7 1/8 in., [i]-iv, [1]-118 pp.; [i]-viii (including frontispiece), [1]-108 pp.; [i]-iv, [1]-112 pp. + [4]pp. publisher's catalogue. Illustrated with wood-engravings. Bound in full, brown polished calf with five raised bands on the spine, dark green leather title label, with gilt titling, decorative gilt designs in compartments, gilt borders to covers and cover edges; marbled paper endpapers, all edges gilt, headbands present. Owner's name and gift inscription in ink on first front flyleaf: John S. Ames Jr. Christmas 1927 From Mother. Some wear to leather at the top end of the spine, rubbing to lower spine end, cover corners; some age-related tanning, light tan-spotting to title-pages; page margins. An unsigned, but high-quality, gift type leather bookbinding produced in the 1900-25 period.
