Le prime 16 pp. (8 carte), con il testo dell'importante "epistola nuncupatoria" del traduttore JANUS CORNARIUS (datata Francoforte 1541) sono professionalmente restaurate e ripulite, perfettamente leggibili nonostante la perdita di alcune lettere. Il testo vero e proprio degli 8 sermoni è invece nitido su carta pulita, integra e croccante (trascurabili pochi buchetti e gore). .Alc. annot. e sottol. a penna. Frontespizio restaurato e risarcito con titolo quasi integro (perdita di due sillabe), integra la bella impresa ed. del grifone ("nutrisco exstinguo"); al colophon, VIGNETTA (volto coronato trifacciale in ricca cornice entro motto in greco e latino ("Concordia parvae res crescunt"). Bei capilettera grandi figurati. EZIO di Amida sul Tigri, 502-575 d. C., primo medico cristiano, scrisse in greco il "Tetrabiblion", di cui qui abbiamo la prima metà; ognuno degli 8 sermoni è a sé stante.
