Internally, illustrated endpapers (coloured), half title, frontis, [6], (vii…-xxv), [1], [4], 5-133 pp, [4], 20 vividly coloured woodcuts, several double page & woodcut end papers all by Rigby Graham, top edges cut remainder not, an edition limited to 170 copies, bound by John Sewell. All housed in the publishers gilt printed, purple slip case.(357*239 mm). Rigby Graham, was a prolific and versatile painter, printmaker and illustrator. This is an attempt by him to reflect the contemporary view rather than reproduce that of Pennant, and has compressed time, so that past and present often co-exist within a single image, this of course provokes thought, debate and hopefully delight!
