Hier volgt een korte beschrijving van zijn leven en werk: Belangrijkste punten: Vroege carrière: Groebli begon zijn carrière als fotograaf in de late jaren 1940. Hij verwierf bekendheid met zijn serie "Magie der Schiene" (Magie van het spoor) in 1949. In de vroege jaren 50 werkte hij als reporter voor internationale tijdschriften als Life en Picture Post. Kenmerkende stijl: Groebli's werk wordt gekenmerkt door een dromerige, impressionistische stijl. Hij maakt gebruik van onscherpte, beweging en lichteffecten om een suggestieve sfeer te creëren. Zijn foto's tonen vaak alledaagse onderwerpen, zoals landschappen, stadsgezichten en menselijke figuren. Bekendste werken: "Magie der Schiene" (1949): Een serie sfeervolle foto's van treinen en spoorwegen. "Das Auge der Liebe" (Het oog van de liefde) (1952): Een intieme serie foto's van zijn huwelijksreis in Parijs.
