Introduction and appreciation by Ben Ames Williams. McCorrison appeared under the name Chet McCausland in many of Williams' stories. They were close friends since Williams visited McCorrison's farm on a trout fishing expedition. Here is a collection of letters dealing with New England life-hunting, fishing, bird-dogs, farming, watching the weather and playing cribbage. A wonderfully written collection of sporting reminiscences. This copy is in very good condition in a good jacket with vertical split at front fold, 1-inch chip to upper front panel and general light wear. The 1st issue which is slightly larger than the subsequent and bound in orange rather than tan paper-over-boards.
