Original, unbroken leather ribbon tie attached to covers. Vellum slightly discoloured and label slightly scuffed, otherwise near Fine condition. Presentation copy from the Printers' Guild President, Mr. James R Sutherland, to the Misses Christie [of Kildrummy?] with his handwritten inscription. [Details are given of the tercentenary dinner, celebrations and unveiling of the memorial tablet. The 5 contributions provided as appendices are : 'The Beginnings of Printing in Aberdeen' by G M Fraser ; 'Census of Raban's Books' compiled by P J Anderson ; Newspaper Articles concerning Raban ; Greetings ; Correspondence with the Aberdeen Town Council].
