Handgefertigter nußbrauner Maroquinband mit fünf erhabenen Bünden auf dem Rücken, die durch goldgeprägte Li…nien abgesetzt sind, auf den Feldern kleine heraldische Lilienornamente, auf zweitem und drittem Titel und Verfasser. Kopfgoldschnitt, vorn und unten unbeschnitten, handgestochene zweifarbige Seidenkapitale, Vorsätze aus Wellenmarmorpapier, Lederinnenfälze, Originalumschläge vorn und hinten beigebunden. Eins von nur 250 Exemplaren auf Vergé du Marais à la forme, Gesamtauflage 300 Exemplare. Unter dem Kolophon von Gonin und Holy handschriftlich signiert. Adrien Holy (30. Januar 1898 St-Imier - 29. Dezember 1978 Genf, Sohn des Stechers Jules Holy) studierte an den Kunstschulen zu Bern, La Chaux-de-Fonds und Genf. Zwischen 1920 und 1939 arbeitete er in Paris als Maler und Fabrikarbeiter, später selbständig als Werbegraphiker und Textilzeichner. Er bereiste Norwegen und Italien und stellte seine Werke im Salon des Artistes indépendants sowie im Salon des Tuileries aus, in der Schweiz 1934 im Premier Salon jurassien in Tramelan und 1936 in der Exposition nationale zu Bern. Bevorzugte Motive sind figürliche Szenen, Interieurs sowie Landschaften. Cf.
