Staple-bound in publisher's color wrappers, black lettering and illustration of two adult humans and a domesticated reindeer by Johannes Schefferus from his 17th Century "Lapponia"). [1], 2-48; maps also printed on inside rear wrapper. Intro ("what every Finn needs to know about the Sámi") by Matti Kuusi; text ("Saamelaiset/The Sami People"); 74 b&w maps/photos/drawings. Condition notes: a very good copy of a rare pamphlet: moderate wear/staining to wrappers; interior tanned but unmarked. The Kalevalaseura ("Kalevala Society") has promoted better understanding of Finnish folklore and art since 1911. We personally inspect every book we offer.
