Limited edition. Deluxe issue. One of 50 numbered copies specially bound and signed by the artist, this being copy no 4. 8vo. Quarter green crushed morocco over gray birch-veneer boards, bound by Gray Parrot, with text printed letterpress in two colors on T. H. Saunders pure rag paper; together with an additional suite containing the publisher's signed prospectus and 15 wood engravings by Alan James Robinson, each numbered and signed and housed in a cloth chemise, the whole housed in the original matching cloth and birch-veneer clamshell case, with titles stamped in silver on the spine. Faint stain on the rear of the slipcase else a fine copy. The text prints three versions of the Jumping Frog story: the original, then translated into French, and finally "clawed back into a civilized language once more by patient, unrenumerated toil." .
