Neutralisierte Biere siud mit etwas Phosphorsaure augesauert zu destillieren, wozu Wei gerts Methode empfohlen werden kann. X. Asche. 30-50 ccm Bier werden in einer geraumigen, tarierten Platinschale eingedampft und vorsichtig eingeaschert. Wenn die Ein ascherung recht langsam vor sich geht, schmelzen die Aschenbestandteile nicht zusammen. XI. Phosphorsanre. Dieselbe ist in del' Asche zu bestimmen, zu welchem Zwecke 50-100 ccm Bier unter Zusatz von nicht zu viel Atz baryt in der Muffel eingeaschert werden. Aus del' salpetersuuren Losung wi I'd die Phosphorsaure nach del' Molybdanmethode bestimmt. XII. Schwefelsanre. Die direkte Bestimmung ist nicht zulassig. Die Bestimmung ist in del' durch Einaschern mit Soda und Salpeter oder mit Atzbaryt bereiteten Asche auf Ubliche Weise auszufiihren. XIII. Chlor. Dasselbe ist in der mit Sodazusatz bereiteten Bier asche zu bestimmen. XIV. Gly('erin. 50 ccm Bier werden mit circa 3 g Atzkalk ver setzt; zum Syrup eingedampft, dann mit circa 10 g grob gepulvertem Mar mor oder Seesand vermischt, zur Trockne gebracht. Del' ganze Trocken riickstand wird zerrieben in eine Kapsel von Filtrierpupier gebracht, diese in einen Extraktionsapparat eingefiihrt und 6-8 Stun den mit hochstens 50 ccm starkem Alkohol cxtrahiert. Zu dem gewonnenen, schwach ge farbten Auszuge wird mindestens das gleiche Volumen wasserfreier Ather hinzugefiigt, und die Losung nach einigem Stehen in ein gewogenes Kolbchen abgegossen, oder durch ein kleines Filter filtriert, mit etwas Alkoholather nachgewaschen. Nach Abdunstung des Atheralkohol wird der RUckstund im Trockenschrunk bei 100-105° C.
