Buch. Condition: Neu. Neuware - 'A Parliamentary History of the Ancient Borough of Horsham, 1295-1885' offers a comprehensive and meticulous chronicle of the political life of one of England's historic constituencies. Spanning nearly six centuries, from the dawn of representative government in the late 13th century to the transformative electoral reforms of the late Victorian era, this work provides an invaluable record of local governance and national political evolution. William Albery details the specific circumstances of every contested election within the borough, shedding light on the shifting dynamics of power, patronage, and public opinion over the generations.
