The cloth binding is rubbed and frayed at the corners and along the spine edges, with the spine cloth worn through to white at the head and tail, and there is light soiling and spotting to the cloth overall. No dust jacket is present. A previous owner's name and a number are written in ink on the front endpaper, along with a short handwritten study note. Two passages are marked in yellow highlighter - an equation on page 84 and a passage on page 127 - and the rest of the text block is clean, white, and free of writing. The binding is intact and the volume opens and closes properly with no loose or missing pages. No library stamps, spine labels, call numbers, card pockets, date-due slips, or accession barcodes were found.
