During the first half of the 20th century, Octavio Amadeo was one of the most prominent Argentine jurisconsult. He received a lawyer obtaining the Doctorate in Law, in the law school of Buenos Aires, with the thesis on "Unitarismo". From that year until 1913, Amadeo was a professor of Constitutional History at the Faculty of Legal and Social Sciences of the University of La Plata. Shortly after, he joined the General Education Council of the province of Buenos Aires (1914-1916). From 1920, when he was appointed Provincial Deputy, Amadeo developed a vast public activity. During the provisional government that emerged from the Revolution of September 6, 1930, Amadeo held important positions as Attorney General of the Supreme Court of the province of Buenos Aires, Director of Internal Taxes, Ambassador to Brazil (between 1930 and 1946). Then, in 1940 and for a year, he was appointed National Auditor of the province of Buenos Aires. Alongside this activity, he was a contributor to various newspapers and magazines, and integrated the National Academy of History, as well as many other cultural institutions. Firmado por el autor.
