Rómulo Zabala was a man of History, founder of the Argentine Society of Writers (SADE) and of the Institute of Numismatics. He knew Ricardo Levenne and Lugones himself as friends and fellow travelers - with whom he shares a series of nice photos published in the newspaper La Nacion in 1926, on the occasion of the first Book Fair in Buenos Aires - . He was deputy director of the Museum of History "Bartolomé Mitre" and director and founder of the Museum of colonial art - today known as "Fernández Blanco". He was an intellectual, strangely a Catholic and Republican bohemian, who had his son and four children baptized on July 14, the date of the French revolution.
