The German artist, Andreas Lochner (1824-1855), painted two scenes from Goethe's Faust before his untimely death in 1855. It was engraved by Ge…rman engraver Christian Julius Gustav Planer (1818-1873). In Very Good- Condition: light foxing on margins; upper edge lightly creased; image is clean and bright.
