C. Angwin.With an advertisement for Liebig's Company Extract of Beef to the front pastedown, and for Bovril and Cadbury's Cocoa to the front blank. In the publisher's original full cloth binding. Externally generally smart, with a tidemark to the front board. Some small perforations to the tail of the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Good. book.

Front and back board shows general wear with numerous imperfections. Fore edge corners bumped with associated tears, minor loss, and fraying. Suspected water damage to front board which has lifted and reshaped cloth. Spine faded to a lighter hue.
