Piccolo capolavoro tipografico impresso su carta forte. L'autore (1651-1719), fu apprezzato uomo di lettere e giurista. Ottimo esemplare.

In Firenze, Nella stamperia di Sua Altezza Reale; Per Jacopo Guiducci e Santi Franchi, 1711, in-folio, cartonatura rustica coeva con il dorso rinforzato all'origine con carta rosa, titolo manoscritto in antico su tassello di carta applicato al dorso, pp. [8], 245, [3]. Con occhietto, iniziali e testatine xilografiche. Ansaldo Ansaldi, letterato e giurista di origine sanminiatese è pressoché dimenticato, ma fu un personaggio di primo piano tra la seconda metà del '600 e la prima metà del '700. Allievo di Giuseppe Averani presso l'ateneo pisano, conseguì la laurea in diritto civile e canonico. Divenne membro dell'Accademia degli Apatisti e dell'Accademia Fiorentina, dove si distinse in campo letterario. Dal 1704 fu membro dell'Accademia dell'Arcadia con il nome di Solando Nedeo. Morì il 7 dicembre 1719.Bell'esemplare a pieni margini caratterizzato da una interessante notazione manoscritta al recto della prima carta di guardia: Ex dono authoris hac die 7 oct. 1711.
