A multi-folded plan with some original colour showing the London roads from Regents Park and surrounds to Epping (map size: 86.5 x 29 cm; overall size 88 x 33.5 cm). Complete with a direction indicator, a scale in miles and chains, and a small table of distances to Epping from the various West End locations (denoted by different colours). The plan was produced for the 6th Report of Commissioners for Metropolis Roads. The Metropolis Roads Commissioners managed the turnpikes within a certain radius of London, aiming to modernise roads using techniques such as those championed by McAdam.
