It consists of a novella, Gift of the Gods by Jones, which first appeared in the January 1955 issue of the pulp magazine Original Science Fiction Stories, and a short story, Cube Sinister by Stangland, which first appeared in the pulp magazine Amazing Stories in October 1951.
