Die von ihm übernommene Sternwarte war überwiegend mit Branderschen Instrumenten ausgestattet und die Tafeln in vorliegendem Werk wurden von Höschl (Branders Nachfolger) gezeichnet. - Stark beschreibt hier neben Thermometern, Barometern, Hygrometern, Manometern etc. auch ausführlich die Bestimmung der Mittagslinie mit einem von Höschel veränderten Branderschen Sonnenquadrant (mit Abbildung). - Titel gestempelt.
