First Edition of this modernist anthology of poetry (sixth cycle) edited by Edith Sitwell containing 19 individual poems including those by the other Sitwell siblings, Aldous Huxley and Sherard Vines. In good condition in original black quarter cloth, illustrated in a bold, avant garde style by William Roberts; remnants of paper title label remain on spine; age toned and shelf worn to edges and corners. A previous owner and Sitwell devotee has pasted a b/w image of Edith to the front pastedown which now suffers some loss to the top. An ownership inscription reads 'H Barnes Dec 1922' to front free. 5 contemporary paper cuttings concerning Miss Sitwell dated between 1923 -1925 are pasted to rear.
