A gift prepared for the first regular meeting of the Frankfurter Bibliophilen Gesellschaft in February, 1923. Census with references to woodcut-decorated book covers of the 15th and 16th centuries, hence covers incunabula. Wrappers illustrated with an example of such woodcuts. Wrappers rubbed, spine eroded but copy is firmly bound. Scarce.
