Half bound in black leather with 5 spine bands and gilt titles, with black boards; black marbled endpapers with a touch of red, black marbled textblock edges. Significantly rubbed all round. Disbound. Rear board separated from spine. FFEP and 1st blank page separated but present. Internally mostly reasonably crisp and clean. 27 chromolithograph plates incl. 5 double page plates; many plates are crisp and clean but some a little thumbed or edgeworn. Overall Fair.
