In good minus blue cloth boards with blind stamped titles and decoration of butterfly, flowers etc and titles to front and spine and gilt titles to spine. The boards are loose from damaged hinges and with collapsed hollow. The front has pale marks…and the rear has water marks; the spine ends are a little crushed. The free end papers are slightly tanned; name of a previous owner on front free end paper. The text block has "numerous illustrations by well-known artists" in black and white and with a colour frontispiece. The pages are firmly bound from the Contents page onwards, flat and with age-toned cut edges and marks on some text pages. Good plus condition. No dedications etc. Without jacket.
