Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. Presentation copy: "Inscribed for .With all good wishes. Dolly Barmann 1952." (Signed on the front fly-leaf). Foreword by Kate McAlpin Crady. The dust jacket is protected by a Brodart mylar cover and is not price clipped. Not an ex-library copy. No remainder marks. Most books shipped within 24 hours. All books mailed with Delivery Confirmation. The jacket has four small closed tears on the rear cover and light wear at the spine ends. The dust jacket spine panel is lightly sunned. Toning on front inside cover and front fly-leaf where an old newspaper article was laid in. Near fine condition in very good + dust jacket. The author was a native of Allen County, Kentucky prior to moving to Fort Worth, Texas after her marriage. Rebecca Smith Lee writes "it preserves . Kentucky rural life before black top roads were built." ; 12mo 7" - 7½" tall; 63 pages; Signed by Author.

Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. First Edition. SIGNED by author. Burnt sienna cloth with gilt title to front board and gilt particulars to spine. Salmon pink paper dust jacket displaying title and a review of the book. Inscription by author dated 1952. Collection of poems including "Possum Hunt", "Moonshiners", and "Grandpa's Buryin' Box". Pages bright and clean. No previous owners' names or other markings. Front pastedown wrinkled in manufacturing (see image). Dust jacket shows fraying and small tears to edges. 5 1/2 by 8 inches. Shipped through USPS Priority Mail.
