A definition of context and contextualization will be the start of this paper. An overview of methods using the ideas of contextualization will follow and the last topic will be the advantages and disadvantages as well as the critics that formed against this movement of language teaching and learning. The paper will close with a short overview about current usage of contextualization in foreign language classrooms, as it is used to a large extend in schools and other institutions as for example the Volkshochschule.Teaching methods differ widely, mostly concerning to what their approach on teaching and learning is and how it is pursued. Methods coming up in the 1970s stated that learning should happen in context, as contextualization is of major importance, when learning a language. This was seen as important in several approaches to learning foreign languages as for example the task based learning approach (TBL) or content and language integrated learning approach (CLIL). This development was a consequence of new research in the field of language acquisition. Beforehand behavioristic approaches and the views they stood for were most important for the developing of teaching and learning models, but as cognitivist views took over contextualization got more and more influential on the matter.

Approaching Shakespeare's works under the aspect of gender studies might not been originally intended by the author, however it provides multiple chances of interpretations and varieties of looking at the text. This is why in this seminar paper the literary theory of gender studies will be implemented on Shakespeare's 'The Tragedy of Othello, the Moor of Venice'. Firstly a theoretical approach to Gender Studies is going to lead the way into this paper with an explanation of the main aspects of the Gender Studies theory and why it was chosen for this work. This will be followed by a focus on depictions of women and men and the gender related differences shown in the play. Furthermore a close look on the main characters namely Othello and Iago being the most important male characters and on the other hand Emilia and Desdemona as the main female characters in the play is taken. Main issues discussed are how the characters fit their role in society, female obedience and silence in contrast to male dominance and the need to act as. Also will these main themes be put in contrast with the plot and its development to see the impact of the characters and their gender related behaviour towards it. This will lead to a final analysis of how gender does influence the plot of the tragedy 'Othello' and its outcome. The characters' downfalls that in the end lead to the tragic resolution is being discussed from a view of gender studies theory. The analysis shows how gender influences Shakespeare's drama in detail, which changes the characters go through with the progression of the plot and gives a short explanation of how these issues could be so fatal for the characters that die in the play.

In the beginning it was considered a new form of art, which obviously still is meaningful today, but also photography for non-art-related purposes becomes more and more common. Everyday photography as for example holiday pictures for remembering became even more widely spread, when digital photography was introduced. Not only the easier handling of a digital compared to an analog camera is a reason for the expansion of digital photography, another main issue of analog photography was the development of the pictures as well as the constant costs of films to put in the camera. With digital photography on the rise also more and more programs to edit and alter pictures popped up in the photography scene. The most prominent of these programs are probably Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator. They give the user lots of possibilities to adjust coloring, light, shadows, brightness and other characteristics of photographic images. In this work a picture taken in the Monument Valley in Utah, USA in the year 2011 will be edited in several ways and it will be discussed, how these changes make different interpretations of these pictures possible, even though the original is the same with all used examples. This will lead to a further thinking about how photography changed from showing a picture of the world as it is in reality to today's modern photography which only in very few images still shows this unaltered reality.

'Django Unchained', a movie directed by Quentin Tarantino, was released in December 2012 and won several prices. The film was discussed a lot in public mostly because of the issue of slavery the director is dealing with in the movie and about how he does it. The film had to endure many critical reviews, bad ones and good ones obviously, as many people thought of the depiction of violence as fitting considered the brutality towards slaves in the antebellum south, others thought it to be extremely exaggerated. Also the controversial use of the N-word, as named in literature and interviews, was a major part of the public discussion about ''Django Unchained'. Ultimately it is the viewer himself who has to decide if in his opinion Tarantino uses the right words and pictures to get even with the institution of slavery and the relationship between white farmers and black slaves.

As there was a problem of communication a new language between the English troops and settlers and the native people came up that is nowadays called a Pidgin language. It was a mixture of the indigenous language and the language of the invaders from Europe. When later the British brought the first slaves from other colonies mostly in Africa they also had a huge impact on this Pidgin language.As the time went by more and more of these colonies declared their independence but most of the influences to the life and the country in the colonies seemed irreversible. A very important impact was the one on the language of the former natives by African slaves and European settlers that inhabited the colonies for a long time. These influences can still be seen in modern times in education, lifestyle and of course the language. The Pidgin languages all over the world - today most of them developed to creoles - are still spoken. They have some distinct features in common but they also show differences concerning grammatical or syntactical features even if the spelling seems to be nearly the same.Therefore in my opinion it is worthwhile taking a closer look to those similarities and differences between Pidgin and Creole languages all over the world and to pick out some appropriate examples that maybe do not share a continent, but instead share linguistic features derived from actions and happenings of a former time whose impacts are still seen today.

Februar 2000 in Vilshofen an der Donau) ist ein deutscher Fußballspieler auf der Position eines Abwehrspielers,… der vor allem als Innenverteidiger zum Einsatz kommt. Maximilian Bauer wurde am 9. Februar 2000 geboren, wuchs im niederbayrischen Windorf auf und begann seine Vereinskarriere als Fußballspieler um das Jahr 2005 bei der SpVgg Grün-Weiß Deggendorf im rund 35 Kilometer nordwestlich von Windorf gelegenen Deggendorf. Beim Verein, der erst im Frühjahr 2003 aus einer Fusion der SpVgg Deggendorf mit dem SV Grün-Weiß Deggendorf entstanden war, durchlief Bauer sämtliche Nachwuchsspielklassen und war zuletzt in der Saison 2013/14 in der C-Jugend aktiv. Für diese absolvierte er in dieser Spielzeit 17 Meisterschaftspartien in der U-15-Bayernliga, in der die C-Jugend seit der Saison 2005/06 vertreten war. In weiterer Folge wechselte Bauer zum damaligen deutschen Zweitligisten SpVgg Greuther Fürth und trat in der ersten Saison nach der Verpflichtung ebenfalls für dessen U-15-Mannschaft in der C-Junioren-Regionalliga Süd in Erscheinung. Mit dieser nahm er in dieser Saison unter anderem am Matthias-Pape-Gedächtnisturnier teil. In der Saison 2015/16 stieg er in die B-Jugend der SpVgg Greuther Fürth auf und absolvierte für diese 14 Ligaspiele. In dieser Spielzeit kam er auf drei Tore in der Süd/Südwest-Staffel der B-Junioren-Bundesliga. Im Endklassement belegten die Fürther mit 25 Zählern knapp hinter dem SC Freiburg mit 26 Punkten den zwölften Platz. Bauer musste mit dem Team in die Bayernliga absteigen. Danach absolvierte Bauer neun Spiele mit einem Treffer in der U-17-Bayernliga und kam noch in derselben Saison in den Kader der Fürther A-Jugend. Er spielte für diese in 13 Partien der A-Junioren-Bundesliga, wobei er zweimal zum Torerfolg kam. Nach einem zehnten Platz im Endklassement der Saison 2016/17 verbrachte Bauer die komplette Spielzeit 2017/18 bei der A-Jugend. Unter dem neuen Trainer Josef Steinberger (* 1972) galt er als Stammspieler, wobei er es bis zum Saisonende auf 20 Ligaeinsätze und drei -tore gebracht hatte. Hinzu kamen auch noch vier Einsätze und ein Tor bei der Bayerischen Hallenmeisterschaft der A-Junioren im Januar 2018. Erste Einsätze im Herrenfußball Im Sommer 2018 schaffte er den Durchbruch im Herrenfußball und wurde sowohl in die erste Mannschaft der Fürther mit Spielbetrieb in der 2. Bundesliga, als auch in die zweite Mannschaft, die U-23, mit Spielbetrieb in der viertklassigen Regionalliga Bayern aufgenommen. Sein Debüt im Herrenfußball gab Bauer am 13. Juli 2018, als er als Innenverteidiger über die vollen 90 Minuten beim 5:1-Sieg der zweiten Mannschaft über den FC Pipinsried auf dem Platz stand.[1] Nach einem weiteren 90-minütigen Einsatz am fünften Spieltag gegen den VfR Garching[2] debütierte Bauer eine Woche später im Profifußball. Beim 1:1-Auswärtsremis gegen den FC Ingolstadt 04, am zweiten Spieltag, wurde Bauer von Trainer Damir Buric in der 94.
