Frontispiece of distillation apparatus and title-page are in very good condition with scattered foxing as are the remaining pages. The missed gathering appears to be restricted to index pages, which appear at the front, and, therefore, a minor exclusion. Four pages of the index are included, and there are no other missing pages. A very uncommon book in any edition or condition.
