Soft cover. Condition: Good. 1st Edition. Brown and white covers are discoloured and slightly stained. Corners and spine are rubbed. Pages are lightly thumbed. Inverse of covers, half title page, page edges are foxed. Page edges are also stained. Civil War battle history along with hundreds of full page, double page, partial page and folding panorama engravings. Tan cloth printed in black, volumes 16.5 inches tall, chromolithograph additional title page in volume I. Good condiiton with some expected wear, including cover soil, wear to spine ends, hinges lightly internally cracked but secure, text blocks sound. One panorama in first volume has split along one fold line but all parts present; also another with a short closed tear, one text page with a corner chip with no loss of text. Pages are clean, no names or other markings. Hard Cover. Good. Elephant Folio - over 15" - 23" tall.

Professionally rebound in brown cloth with the original cover art with gold stamping rebound. Excellent condition. Hinges intact (not cracked), binding strong and solid. EXCELLENT CONDITION. Scarce in this condition.
