Soiling to endpapers; rear free endpaper and rear pastedown have shallow chipping at their fore-edge margins with other leaves having minor nicking at fore-edges; a few spots of soiling to interior text leaves as well. Front free endpaper recto has ink stamp "From | Charles Kramer | Member of Congress | 13th District-California" at center (U.S. Representative Charles Kramer, 1879-1943, in office from March 1933 to January 1943). Binding is firm. Poetry in both English and Navajo with illustrations by renowned Navajo artist Andrew Van Tsihnahjinnie albeit an effort early in his career.
