Papier etwas vergilbt, besonders zum Rand hin. Friedrich Reclam, Sohn von J.F. Reclam d.Ä. (gest. 1754), des Hofjuweliers von Friedrich d. Gr. und Stammvater der Leipziger Buchhändlerfamilie. 1755-1762 weilte er in Rom, wo er vermutlich nähere Beziehungen zu H. Robert (1733-1808) unterhielt, der mit H. Fragonard (1732-1806) in Rom ein neues idyllisch-dekoratives Genre italienischer Landschafts- und Ruinendarstellungen schuf, an das sich Reclam sehr eng in seinen Landschaftsradierungen mit Motiven aus Tivoli usw. anschloß.
