Cover bright showing slight scuffing and bumping to corners. Remainder notch to head of text block. A few faint creases to cover. Some chipping along bottom edge of cover. Cover copy: To goldenhaired Delight Adams, the long. distance call meant a summons back to the house of her birth. To her svelte brunette aunt, Deborah Cromwell, it meant the shameful remembrance of her only, and abortive, love affair. But naive, virginal Delight was determined to glean experience from it all, to fulfill her womanhood -which she did with young Bob Lorimer before leaving on her journey. Later, in New York, she bartered her voluptuous, pink-skinned body to Matthew Follansby, her father's attorney, to learn the secret of her mysterious legacy. She didn't quite learn it all, but she learned that her body and its myriad emotions were designed for giving untold pleasure. And then, in the gloomy old house at the crossroads in a tiny New England village, where farmers still lived in fear of the witches' curse, lovely Delight found herself and her aunt under baleful suspicion of being reincarnated lust agents of Satan Himself! How she learned who, or what, was behind the perverted plot, and how, at last, she found for what her body had been craving, is set forth vividly and unforgettably in THE SENSUAL HEIRESS. First Paragraph(s): Delight Adams lay on her stomach on her luxurious double bed. The shades were drawn and the doors conveniently locked, just in case Aunt Deborah should take it on herself to pay her niece an unexpected visit. Not that there was much danger at ten o'clock at night, but then one never knew about Aunt Deborah. It might be just a trifle embarrassing to explain why she was busy reading a copy of The Story of O in the original French edition. 158 pages. Text unmarked. Softcover. Condition: Very Good. Gene Bilbrew "Eneg" (illustrator). Wizard 403. 1960s London bohemian erotic novel. Great Bilbrew cover. Cover bright showing slight scuffing and bumping to corners. Cover copy: London, once the seat of pomp and Empire, is now. a place of mini-skirted intrigue. Into the milieu, Denise Rembreau fitted perfectly. A failure as an art student, with a model's sensual body, she became easy prey to the brutality of ex-convict, Bark Williams and became his abject love slave. At his orders, Denise drew another artistic nonentity, Larry Corning, into a plot to steal valuable paintings from museums. In order to insure Larry's loyalty, she sealed the bargain by treating him to her erotic talents, which were not minimal. Complications arose, however, when they encouraged one another to resume artistic careers, and unforeseen emotions became added to violent passions. The lovers suffered setbacks: Denise was forced, by Bark, into the rapacious clutches of pig-like, Farber, a fence for stolen art works. Larry, tricked by Bark into despairing of Denise's love, gave up on going straight. Thus the stage is set for conflict between defilement and regeneration. First Paragraph(s): The Hardwick Gallery was set far back from the narrow sidewalk. People passing by in the late afternoon or early evening were always surprised that a lot should still exist in the crowded, commercial neighborhood, that there should be this sudden forty-foot-wide space intruding itself between the steady line of merchant shops that fronted the sidewalk like odd-sized stalwarts of English tradition. But then the passersby would look again and see the gallery set at the end of the city lot instead of at the front of it, and they would blame the fog for their inattention to an establishment that was nearly as old as the Empire itself. 158 pages. Cover bright showing slight scuffing and bumping to corners. Remainder notch to head of text block. A few faint creases to cover. Cover copy: How can one man, living in the shadows of society, throw a blanket of fear over a great eastern city in order to feed his twisted desires of sexual experiences? What transpires in the dark labyrinth of the distorted mind of a sex strangler? This hard-to-put-down novel brings to life the many facets of a depraved personality and the city that trembled under the fear caused by his bizarre crimes. It depicts, with frightening clarity, the inner workings of a strange and sometimes pathetic man, Mason Stevenson; the devious twistings and turnings of a mind that can no longer judge right from wrong. A mind that, seeks only the physical satisfaction of a deep. rooted lust to r*pe. First Paragraph(s): Smog mixed with a threatening New England sky to prematurely darken the city streets. Mason Stevenson, moving aimlessly through these streets, felt more comfortable when the darkness enveloped him. It represented safety and deepened the obscurity of his life, made him more invisible to others, allowing him darkness and aloneness as if they alone were the seeds of his madness. 158 pages. This is a 1960's sleaze novel that is especially interesting because the cover art is by Gene Bilbrew, also known as ENEG. Bilbrew was a pioneering African-American illustrator who created the first black superhero, The Bronze Bomber. Bilbrew also worked for Will Eisner (Mad Magazine) and replaced Jules Feiffer as artist for the comic strip, Clifford. Bilbrew became addicted to heroin, lost his jobs with major publishers and began doing highly risque work for fetish magazines and sleaze book covers.
