Black coarse cloth with spine titles and rule in gold, fore- and bottom edges untrimmed, gray-green end-papers. Inscribed on half-title by Benoist-Mechin. Limited to 220 copies (out of sequence, no number). Spine ends worn with some loss of cloth, damp stains at leaf edges and foxing (too much time in New Orleans), foxing. Bookseller accession no.: 24042. Claudel, 1868-1955, the younger brother of sculptor Camille Claudel, was a French diplomat, poet and playwright.

Condition: Très bon. #Broché : 306 pages #Parution : mars 2005 #Résumé: Dans le domaine de la recherche fondamentale, les chercheurs ne se voient reconnaître aucun droit de propriété ou de récompense pécuniaire sur les résultats ultérieurs de leurs découvertes : le Code de la propriété intellectuelle exclut de toute brevetabilité " les découvertes, théories scientifiques et méthodes mathématiques ". N'est-il pas possible, aujourd'hui, de relancer cette question, à l'heure où la compétition économique mondiale se joue sur le terrain de la recherche, d'une part, où la connaissance des lois de la nature a débouché sur de nouvelles technologies d'autre part ? C'est l'objet du premier colloque présenté ici : " La propriété scientifique : un droit sur les résultats de la recherche fondamentale ? ". Par ailleurs, il est souvent affirmé par les experts que la France dépose de moins en moins de brevets, preuve du mauvais état de santé de sa recherche. Le second colloque - " Entreprise de recherche et recherche dans l'entreprise " - avait pour objet d'analyser et d'expertiser les spécificités des régimes juridiques de l'activité de recherche, pour tenter de cerner les causes de cet affaiblissement, que celles-ci se situent sur le plan organique, contractuel, fiscal, financier ou sur celui de la valorisation et de la motivation des chercheurs. Par ces deux colloques, regroupés sous le titre " Propriété scientifique et recherche : des pistes pour l'avenir ", l'Académie des sciences morales et politiques et l'Académie des sciences poursuivent leur réflexion de fond pour contribuer à construire " l'Europe de la connaissance ", souhaitée à l'horizon 2010.
