Very useful postwar French imprint (Hooray!) of Brittany in 1914 before "Le Boche" and battles destroyed so much. [The disparaging French slang "Boche" means approximately "Swine" < "Obstinate" or, as we would say, "Pig-headed."] Somewhat shaken; internally a clean and slightly age-toned copy with numerous colored maps (1 foldout) & B&W illustrations. Front endpaper-xiv becoming detached though rest of text block remains secure, though lacking the folding map in the rear pocket.
