Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. These three books were first published as separate volumes in the Petites Monographies: Des Grands Edifices de la France" series. No date but appears turn of the nineteenth century and is listed as 1900 elsewhere. Bound in attractive three-quarters red leather with marbled paper covering the rest of the boards. Minor wear to extremities, light foxing to pastedown and some endpapers and slight foxing to foredge and bottom edge of pages. The top edge is gold gilt. Former owner's bookplate to front pastedown. Bound by the Wilson Bindery in Newcastle-on-Tyne (small sticker on back pastedown). Only English words are printed in gold on spine: "French Cathedrals" together with a list of these three. Quite attractive spine with repeated design and 5 raised bands all highlighted in gold. Quite uncommon.
