"This book reveals the dynamic concepts which unleashed Americans to pursue their dreams, fulfill their potential, and, together, build the most prosperous nation on the planet. It is a 'must read!' - Bill Federer "God's Law frees individuals and nations. The divinely inspired biblical writer calls it "the Law of liberty." The Gospel of Christ in all its intent - is salvation with all the life after it. God's Law prescribes godly freedom and self-government. It protects the innocent from unjust prosecution. It defines justice and just punishments. God's Law frees us from excess taxation, and requires the people to provide a system of private care for the infirm, widows and orphans, liberating them from poverty. It also frees the people in general from the tyranny of socialism, communism, humanism, and progressivism. Meanwhile, neither socialists nor political tyrants are safe under God's perfect Law of liberty. Nothing marks our current social and financial downfall more than our disrespect for the Lord and His biblical law." - from the introduction/rear cover. Signed by Author(s).

"But remember the Lord your God, for it is He who gives you the ability to produce wealth." - Deuteronomy 8:18 "This book doesn't deal with obtuse theory. Instead, we offer a practical handbook demonstrating important ways Biblical wisdom can transform people and their nations toward greater wealth. With words, economists seldom economize. While the wealth of nations may variously accumulate and evaporate, explanations for it typically come with an uneconomical wealth of words. Our purpose here, however, is not to follow every trailing tendril of the money tree. Rather, we have set forth a two-fold purpose: First, we seek to persuade and demonstrate that economic science is not humanistic or materialistic at root. Rather, we must understand the field of economics in Biblical terms. God and godly wisdom must define the content of the economics curriculum. Second, we offer an ordered discussion of the foundational economic principles relevant to the cultural and personal realities - the needs of our and every time. As wealth production requires liberty of action, this is a book about liberty. And wealth is important to the work of the Great Commission of Christ. The production of wealth and its legal protection are fundamental in Scripture. Believing then that economic liberty is vital to a godly and free people generally, we offer this compendium of specific ideas and stories for your edification." - From the Introduction. "This book doesn't deal with obtuse theory. It is a practical handbook demonstrating how Biblical wisdom transforms people and their nations toward greater wealth. This book is about liberty and the importance of wealth to the work of the Great Commission of Christ. Wealth production requires liberty of action. BLESSEDLY BRIEF. With words, economists seldom economize. We have chosen to get right to the point: What is the point? Demonstrate that economic science is not humanistic or materialistic at root. It must be understood in Biblical terms; Discuss foundational economic principles relevant to your culture and your life."- From the rear outer cover: Signed by Author(s).

America is losing its heritage of God-given freedoms, which were originally derived from biblical teaching. We sense that our well-sung liberties are being lost to a point of no return. With God's help freedom can be revived. We must all work to pull America back from the cliff's-edge fall into tyranny. Our nation is again in search of genuine liberty under God. Soft cover. Condition: New. New condition color photographic softcover wraps. The Liberty Book Series. Includes Introduction; About the Authors; and Appendix. Signed by the author, John Bona, with blue pen at the top of the first front title page (see photograph). "Having been concerned about the nature, content, and direction of government schools for over three decades, we are seeing more than ever the need to expose this system for the godless mechanism that it is. We also want to give some instruction and encourage hope for Christian parents who struggle in their hearts over state schooling and how to respond. For many parents, nothing confounds so much as trying to sort through all the claims and counter claims about government schools, schools in general, and homeschooling. Opponents fling accusations on all sides. Some claim that only mainstream schools can properly socialize their children. Home-school parents typically insist that teaching living manners as a part of home education best establishes general social skills. Many children and their parents believe that organized sports are so important that other issues must take second or third place in schooling decisions. Poor moral instruction and cultivation in the public schools is a growing and in many cases overwhelming concern for parents from a variety of backgrounds. Should Heather really have two mommies? Even after over four decades of strenuous effort by both Christian school promoters and home-school advocates, around 90% of all school students in grades 1-12 remain in government schools. That number has dropped a few percentage points over the years but no widespread shift away from government schooling has taken hold. Government schools remain the staple for schooling in America. Large numbers of parents, including Christian parents, continue to choose government schools over other choices. This book will demonstrated why this is a faulty choice and offer some strategies for escaping the government school attempted monopoly of this all important work. We hope and pray this little book will convince Christian parents that their children do not belong in government schools and that they should make better choices for their believed progeny." - From the Introduction "Are you playing Russian roulette with your child's soul? Nothing allows us to gamble with the lives of our children. We pray they get a good Christian education. We must be examples for them to believe and obey the Holy Scriptures. We have to keep humanist teachers from stripping our children of their Christian faith. Christian education has to be restored in America so we can again become one nation under God.". According to medieval physicians, lovesickness was an illness of mind and body caused by sexual desire and the sight of beauty. The notorious agony of an unhappy lover was treated as an ailment closely related to melancholia and potentially fatal if not treated. In Lovesickness in the Middle Ages, Mary F. Wack uses newly discovered texts and takes a fresh look at primary sources to offer the first comprehensive analysis of the forms and meanings of the lover's malady in medieval culture. She examines its importance in medieval literature and its role in the transformation of courtly love from literary convention to social practice. Drawing extensively from the Viaticum and its commentaries, studied for centuries in medical schools, Wack also addresses wider questions about the cultural construction of illness, the conflict between medicine and Church morality, the relations between lovesickness and gender, and the lover's malady as a form of behavior in late medieval society. The second part of the book contains annotated editions and translations of six important texts on lovesicknessâ"the Viaticum and four commentaries on it. Forty-six black-and-white illustrations provide a striking visual perspective on medieval love and medicine. Lovesickness in the Middle Ages will interest literary scholars and students as well as historians of medicine, sexuality, psychology, and women's studies.
