The wraps are a little shelf rubbed and the covers are slightly 'browned' around the edges. Internally there are light marks around the page edges and the tope edge of the pages are a little wavy. First and only edition. Slim 8vo. pp. v, 28; frontis., 8 leaves of photo.plates, two plans; somewhat shaken in original brown cloth, a little bumped and bowed. The author, Senior Chaplain to the forces of the Cyrenaica area in World War Two, was prompted to write the book in discussion with Brigadier H. R. Hall, Commander in the area, "due to the lack of a suitable book" (Foreword).
