Importante supplemento, delle Cose Notabili di Bologna del Guidicini, che venne pubblicato a se stante ad oltre trent'anni di distanza dall'ultimo volume dell'opera. Il testo è di vitale importanza per la completezza dell'opera di Guidicini in quanto ne contiene le appendici e gli indici.

Prima rarissima edizione di questa importante relazione del noto dottore bolognese Ulisse Breventani dedicato allo studio delle "correnti-nervose od elettro-vitali, od elettro-chimiche vitali negli animali, che nell'anno scorso cedettero coll'aiuto del galvanometro di dimostrare i professori Puccinotti e Pacinotti". L'opera ebbe grandi lodi da parte dal celebre professore Alessandrini. Prima edizione in buone-ottime condizioni di conservazione. Ulisse Breventani (1808-1848) fu membro della Società Medico-Chirurgica Bolognese e autore di diversi studi in particolare inerenti alle tecniche d'auscultazione. Assai rara, nessun esemplare censito in ICCU.
