Condition: Good. 1960. Second Edition. 173 pages. Dust jacket over red cloth with gilt lettering. Pages are bright and clear with mild foxing and tanning to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Light cracking ad staining to gutters but binding remains firm. Pen inscriptions to some pages; text unaffected. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild tanning and scuffing overall. Spine has light tanning with soft crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Unclipped dust jacket with minor rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

Original Cloth. Condition: Very Good. First Edition. There is some fading to the spine, rubbing to the corners of the boards and a little surface wear but the boards are otherwise unmarked. Browning to the page edges with a little dark marking to the bottom corners. The front free endpaper has the name of the original owner and his first College - this was Jimmy Altham, a Life Fellow of Gonville & Caius College, and a Professor of Philosophy at the University of Cambridge. There is a crease across the bottom corners of the pages at the back of the book but the pages are otherwise unmarked. No jacket. First printing. Heavy item so there will be an additional postage charge for overseas orders.
