Pages toned and numerous chips, tears, and lacking corners. Additional dampstaining and a few loose pages throughout. Includes many trappings of its early owners, Walter and Lucy Brownley, including a lovely gifter's inscription and well-used family record pages (much of the notation made by someone with a clear flair for decorative penmanship), the receipt for the original purchase of the book, a clipping of hair, a badly faded 19th century photo of a baby, and several prayer cards, poems, and colorful clippings.
