The only work, published posthumously, of Thomas Browne (1771-1798), Hull newspaper editor. The subscriber's list is mostly northern, especially biased towards Yorkshire, which is hardly surprising given the inclusion of several verses in Yorkshire dialect. Some of the pieces contained herein had appeared in the author's newspaper, The Hull Advertiser, under the pseudonym 'Alexis'. Size: 8vo.
