Es stellt so ziemlich alles in dieser Kategorie vor, was es mal gegeben hat, und bis heute gibt. Behandelt wird u.a. auch Wiederladen, richtiges Schießverhalten für Sportschützen, Patronen und deren Maße und geschichtliche Entwicklung. Einige Kuriositäten sind auch aufgeführt. Das Buch ist reich und vor allem detailreich illustriert, und die Texte ausführlich genug, ohne sich in Langeweile zu verlieren. Es geht nicht bis ins kleinste Detail, aber es ist so genau, wie nötig, um die Informationen für Otto-Normalbürger verständlich zu machen. Ich habe es seit 2008, empfehle es jedem Schützenbruder und schaue auch heute noch immer wieder mal rein.
